"FAR and WILD" OPENS AT THE WILDERNESS GALLERY
This week's exciting news is the opening of my exhibition "Far and Wild" at The Wilderness Gallery, Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. The show features 42 prints hanging in two rooms of what is regarded as Australia's premier nature photography exhibition space.

"Far and Wild" is part of the 2007 gallery season entitled "ten rooms - ten stories", which includes the work of some fine Australian photographers including Ted Mead, Lindsay Stepanow and Doug Thost; the work of emerging talents Chris McMahon, Nerida Manson and Kim Rumbold; and a newly-acquired collection of 20 prints by Australia's only inductee to the International Photographer's Hall of Fame, the late Peter Dombrovskis.

The Wilderness Gallery is Australia's largest exhibition space for environmental photography, and is purposebuilt as an interface between the arts and the natural environment. The gallery has 10 rooms dedicated to wilderness photography and showcases around 250 images at any one time. Located at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania's northern highlands, the gallery lies in the heart of the wilderness that itself inspired some of the great Australian landscape photographers. Gallery Co-ordinator is Tracy Thomas.
